MEET The Team
Dr. Leila Ortiz Phd
I strive to support people in living their full potential and enjoying a life that brings happiness and fulfillment. I aim to equip people with the tools to understand and transform whatever interferes with that process. Our work together will empower you to transform old negative beliefs and patterns and grow into a powerful being with presence, integrity, self-love, and joy.
If you are looking for someone who is empathetic, nonjudgmental, and challenges your thinking, I may be a good fit for you. I help my clients understand their current difficulties and the causes of those problems. Together, we work towards empowerment, personal growth, and healing. I see my work as helping people develop mindful awareness, self-compassion, and insight into themselves and life's challenges.
Tiffany Ream | Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
A good relationship between therapist and client is the key to successful therapy.
I have a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology and am credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. I have about 16 years of experience including trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar, adjustment disorders, relationship conflicts, and trauma.
I provide a safe, judgment-free space for you to process and discuss what is on your mind. Establishing a healthy rapport will be our first priority, and we will move along at a pace that is comfortable for you. I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Techniques and Solution-Focused Therapy; however, I am flexible, and we will find the best approach for you. I believe that our thoughts and feelings directly connect with how we make decisions and choices in our lives.
I have experience working with clients in private practice, in-patient, group homes, and correctional settings. I have experience working with a diverse group of clients and I believe we all need help in our struggles, and that we don't have to go at it alone. As a therapist, I want you to have a safe place to heal, learn, and grow.
My mission is to help all clients be heard and find their voice. It's your story and it's time for you to tell it.
Ellie Parker | Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
First and foremost, I want to acknowledge that it takes courage to look for help and reach out for support, as this process can evoke doubts and fear. Therefore, Iād like to invite you to take this opportunity to recognize and appreciate your commitment to yourself and healing, choosing a path of growth and self-improvement.
My therapeutic approach considers your well-being from a humanistic and holistic perspective, including utilizing various therapeutic techniques tailored to your needs. My goal is to support you in your growth journey to go from where you are to where you want to be, becoming the most loving and highest version of yourself in the process. I place emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and its potential to help you to move towards wellness in any and all areas of your life, which includes but is not limited to relationships with others and the self, physical, mental, and spiritual well-being as well as their alignment. When working with clients, I focus on creating a warm and safe space sprinkled with the occasional humor that allows for awareness, understanding, and vulnerability, building the foundation for healing and growing.
If you are looking for therapeutic support in achieving your goals, creating better for yourself through an integrative approach, to learn new skills to cope or improve your wellness, I may be a good fit for you, in which case I encourage you to reach out.
